Pinterest’s new first time user experience.
It seems that Pinterest has updated its first time experience, deciding to implement the “sign in wall” in their app and on their website. At least on the website, we can still view a pin or board if we are deep-linked directly to it.
This is a stark shift from before, when we could browse a sampling of content without needing to sign in first. This feels like a step backward. I wonder if they’d be willing to share some insight on the decision?
