These screens are from one of the Precor elliptical machines in a hotel I visited. The startup experience was different—in a nice way—from my previous fitness machine example in that there were a bunch of preset workouts in addition to the simpler “QuickStart” option.
These presets were diverse and didn’t require additional metrics to be plugged in before starting. I had the option of providing measurements and duration via an options panel that displayed upon reaching the workout screen, but it was easily dismissed. So, at most, I was only ever two taps away from launching into a workout.
